Are u kidding? That looks like a mental ray render!!I know u are using xlioul shader but I keep wondering if xlioul shader contains some sort of render engine. It probably has some features, tricks or lighting that makes the model look that good in the viewport. I am thinking its like marmoset toolbag but works within 3dmax?If u use the 3dmax shaders, they wouldn't look as good, right?
No, its just a shader haha there is no render engine You can get pretty complex shaders out there. But most of them can be used in some form or another in most realtime programs. no need to hit render at all
Can I ask what graphics card u use.I use a nividia geoforce 9500 GT card.I tried using viewport 2.0 to make my models look better but not very pleased with the results.Does 3dmax viewport support dynamic lighting/shadows?
