My 10 Steps to 3D Character Creation by HazardousArts My 10 Steps to 3D Character Creation by HazardousArts
A few people have suggested I make this up, so I thought I would oblige.

It's really only a visual interpretation of the steps I go through to make the artwork I make. For a more in depth breakdown see my tutorial PDF here: [link]

I hope its useful :)

Your hair looks like it's glowing. Did you add something to it or is that really how the texture looks?

I never can get the hang of the base sculpt part at all.  I keep ending up making a complete low poly character before that happens

Now how did you add the long and flowing hair in the back? How do you make the geometry to do that?

Step1: create model
Step2: arrange polygons in right place and make sure it doesn't look too ugly and blah blah blah...
Step3: give up

Your sculpting is so smooth and clean! If I may ask, what's your opinion on Blender compared to other programs such as Metasequoia? Which do you think is the easiest or most efficient to use?

I was wondering, as an MMDer, if I could have the model data for this model?
I would convert and rig her myself, but I just wanted to know if I could because she's absolutely gorgeous ; v ;

Ah, I see! I'm studying 3D right now in school. A question about steps 1-4: Why do you retopo the body before detail sculpt? Do you want to keep the body saved somewhere just in case, or is it to save resources when moving on to the detail sculpt?
