Player Character heads I did for Rift which launched in early 2011. This is the Female Kelari and some of her customisation options. Theres really too many to show so I've just selected a few.

Edit: Ive been asked to remove the wireframes and the specs. Sorry Guys!

When doing a character like this for an MMO that I`m guessing that does not support normal maps, how much detail do you add in zbrush ?

Also do you use any form of AO or Displacement map information as a multiply layer on top of your diffuse hand painted texture ?

And not wanting to abuse your kindness but if you are to make a character for a mmo that uses old technology like WOW , is it still a viable option to do the character in zbrush then retopo it really low or just use maya / max for the whole process?

I love your work man , makes me feel tiny :))
